One Time Password

OTP or One Time Password is another layer of online protection against any financial fraud.

How it works?

After the customer press the PAY button, a small charge to the credit card will be made. This charge will be voided automatically.

The OTP is the first 3 digits that corresponds to the amount of the charge made to the credit card entered by the customer. Kushki Cajita will display a new field where the customer will type the OTP.

Important to consider:

  • The OTP expires after 5 minutes
  • The customer will have 3 attempts to enter a valid OTP. Otherwise, the customer will have to ask for a new one by pressing the PAY button again or try with another credit card.
